Just a Swangin'

One of Little Miss' favorite things to do outside is swing on the "life preserver." Now the new little girl, Emma, is loving it, too.

Angels We Have Heard on High

My sweet Little Miss singing in the "Sonshine Choir" on Wednesday night.
They sang a song called "Itty Bitty Little" about being little, obviously, and still being able to do for and love Jesus. They also sang one about all the creatures in the sea and God made me. Last time she was too busy waving at EVERYONE in the audience to sing...but this time she did awesome. So much fun to watch.

Things we LOVE

We love that Remington is learning to write her name.... no not really very pretty yet, but it's definately coming along. I'm so glad I get the chance to teach her this and help her have fun learning.
that we have sweet grandparents to pick up at the airport and go spend the night with...
that someone invented "moving stairs" for us to ride...
that we can make Rudolph food art even in February. hehehe...
We love that we have sweet friends to come over to play.

A Day in the Life

Do you know how hard it is to blog when there are two little one year olds reaching their little fingers up onto the table, just barely, just enough to grab the cord of the mouse, pulling the keyboard all wonky enough to make my already bad typing skills REALLY bad, snatching toys away from one another just to see if the other really cares and will cry about it? And then there's Little Miss Remi, asking what I'm doing, can she play games on Nick, Jr. or PBSkids.org, when will I be done, can she color, do I want to play kitchen, can I put on a movie, she thinks someone is stinky, such a little mother. Then there is the new little girl, Emma, who is 2.5, who says maybe three words. She just comes up and grunts, brings me things to lay in my lap, or pulls on my shirt and then runs off laughing. {Who knew bloggin would be such a challenge.} It's why there isn't a post from me but about twice a month. So much easier to do when everyone has gone home and Sweet Little Miss is in bed. Notice there were no pictures with these last two. Yep, becoming more like a real diary all the time.....

Scrapbook Weekend

Ok.. So we just had the MOST fun. We: Bethany, (my SIL) her friend Shanna, Marsha, and I went to Sunrise Beach near Llano to scrapbook for the weekend. Bethany's aunt Kandi has a scrapbook house there that would give Hobby Lobby a run for their money. SERIOUSLY. She teaches card making classes and is a Stampin' Up! rep, so she had all the supplies we could ever dream of. I got almost my whole Disney book done! Whoohoo! We told stories, talked about our kids, and our wonderful husbands who were in charge for the weekend, had our food cooked by her Granny and her Aunt, stayed up way too late, ate a lot of chocolate and laughed, laughed, laughed. The room her Aunt has is just the right size for four people, so it was perfect. Can't wait till we go back again soon.
